SASSA Takes Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it's alarmed regarding the high range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie click here and there is no absolutely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The service level designed for intervention ordeals a large influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more assets to permit the servicing of all shoppers and maximize usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
